The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of a button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or go for Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top robot vacuum performers during my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can even remove wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful but they also push the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it back to its base station. The control panel has an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences.
