Kidney Cancer and Railroad Workers

Railroad workers are at a higher risk of being diagnosed with kidney cancer as a result of long-term exposure to asbestos, diesel exhaust and second-hand smoke. They are also exposed to harmful chemicals and chemicals like Cadmium. This white-silver metal is released when oil and coal are burned in coke ovens.

Signs and symptoms

Railroad Aml workers are exposed to diesel exhaust, silica, asbestos and other carcinogens as part of their jobs. Diagnosis

It can also be done with a minimally invasive method using the da Vinci surgical system, which has been associated with shorter recovery times and less adverse effects than open surgery.

Monoclonal antibodies can be used to treat some patients with renal cell cancer. These antibodies are able to attach and block substances which help cancer cells grow. One such monoclonal antibody is bevacizumab. It can be administered through injection or taken by mouth.
